OBJECTIVE: To introduce participants with the much awaited LMS-IBM portal that will make access to online learning content and provide exclusive in house on campus training.
Lloyd Institute organized the launch of LMS IBM with the presence of approx. 400 students from UG and PG batches. The session started with the knowledgeable presentation of Mr.Gagan Agrawal, Head Academic Partnerships, IBM Career Education Program, where he gave the introduction to LMS IBM and covered the journey of IBM. Sir also gave insights regarding emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, Recommendation Engines,etc. The session covered the importance of data and how one can make better sense of data like leading companies Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Uber, Ola,etc. The real life examples given by sir in the session were really insightful.
Followed by this the brief discussion by Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions guided the participants regarding the role data, business analytics and AI are playing in every field of management be it Human Resource, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing. In every domain analytics is playing a major role to make or break activities involved.
Dr.Neetu Kamra covered the impact LMS-IBM had created last year and how its success last year has motivated Lloyd and IBM to carry on this partnership further. Maam discussed the course overview, certification criteria, and the impact these courses can create in the future prospects of the learner. Followed by this, Prof. Neha Issar guided the student regarding the demo of LMS-IBM portal, various learning paths and the course content designed as per the domain requirement i.e., Supply chain, Marketing, Human resource,Business Analytics,etc.
The session was really an informative one, and involved various exchanges of ideas and open discussion.
