The MBA program at Lloyd is a distinguished offering, affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University, designed to equip students with a robust foundation in business management. The curriculum encompasses 19 core subjects and an extensive selection of 35 elective subjects, distributed across 7 specializations. Students are required to select two specializations, allowing for a tailored educational experience that aligns with their career aspirations. Additionally, the program emphasizes practical application through four projects integrated into the curriculum.
To ensure students receive personalized guidance throughout their academic journey, each student is paired with a dedicated faculty mentor. These mentors play an instrumental role in overseeing the students' progress with critical components of the program, including Mini Projects 1 and 2, the Summer Training Project Report (STPR), and the Research Project Report (RPR), which are completed in the first, second, third, and fourth semesters, respectively.
The mandatory on-the-job practical training period spans 6 to 8 weeks, and the institution takes an active role in facilitating this essential component of the program. Mentors provide invaluable support in guiding students through the Research Project Report, ensuring that they gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
In addition to academic and project support, the program offers Personality Development Programs (PDPs) and certification courses designed to enhance students' employability and equip them with the skills necessary to thrive in the competitive business landscape. The holistic approach to education at Lloyd also promotes physical well-being through sports and yoga initiatives, further enriching the students’ overall educational experience.
