The candidate must have passed 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent degree course in any stream with minimum 50% marks (for Gen/ OBC) or 45% marks (for SC/ST) (students appearing for final year examinations may also apply).
Admissions are based on the guidelines of the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and are done in two modes:
Preference will be given as per to the Candidates who have qualified UPSEE exam 2023
Scheduled Caste (UPSC): Candidates who are willing to claim reservation under this category must come under the scheduled caste (SC) category in accordance to the guidelines laid down by the Government of India. The candidate can apply for admissions under this category at LIMT. Candidates applying under this category need to produce a certificate of eligibility from appropriate authority.
Scheduled Tribe (UPST): Candidates who are willing to claim reservation under this category must fall under the scheduled tribe (ST) category as per the guidelines laid down by the Government of India The candidate can apply for admissions under this category at LIMT. Candidates applying under this category need to produce a certificate of eligibility from appropriate authority
Other Backward Classes (UPBC): Candidates who are willing to claim reservation under this category must fall under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category as per the guidelines laid down by the Government of India The candidate can apply for admissions under this category at LIMT. Candidates applying under this category need to produce a certificate of eligibility from appropriate authority. .
A candidate must go through following selection criteria:
Round 1:
Group Discussion or Personal Interview, Essay Write Up/ Written Communication Test
Round 2:
Director’s Round Personal Interview
In addition to the above mentioned rounds candidate shall submit
The collective evaluation on the basis of performance in Round 1, Round 2, 10th, 12th, Graduation and UPSEE will be carried out for selection/non-selection of candidates.
**The candidates that have not appeared in UPSEE examination, will be evaluated on the basis of other entrance exams or on the
basis of performance in Round 1, Round 2, 10th, 12th and Graduation (whichever is applicable)
