Purpose: The objective of present study is to investigate top business management colleges in Delhi.
Methods: The present manuscript shows the top Indian Business Management colleges in Delhi that have been ranked on the basis of certain standardized parameters as prescribed by Government of India and careers 360. The five important parameters are Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RPP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception as prescribed by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India. Secondly, Careers 360 has defined parameters for ranking the government and private colleges are -Student Quality, Teaching, Process- Living, Learning and Output- Alumni Score, Research, Salary Scores and ROI.
Results: The results of the study reveal that International Management Institute has acquired first position in Delhi with the score of 81.77 and acquired seventh in India according to NIRF report, 2018. Careers 360 has ranked Faculty of Management Studies first in government colleges with the score of 359.01 and ranked seventh in India. On the other hand, under private colleges category International Management Institute ranked first with the score of 278.84 in Delhi and seventh in India.

Delhi is a hub of top business management colleges which allure students seeking professional education in the areas of business management. The objective of present study is to investigate top business management colleges in Delhi. Every year top business management colleges are being ranked on the basis of standardized parameters such as Learning Experience (i.e. Pedagogy, Quality of faculty, Student connect, Internship, Innovative Teaching, Industry Connect), Living Experience (Knowledge facility, Resource on living, Resource on recreation, Physical Infrastructure), Placement Performance(Quality of Placement and Quality of Recruiter), Selection Process & Establishment (Intake Quality and Establishment & Accreditation), Future Orientation( Global Exposure) .
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) started by the MHRD and started by Honorable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015. to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. There are standardized parameters defined by MHRD for ranking various management colleges. Each parameter consists of maximum score 100 and the total score an institute will then be scaled down to 100. Five parameters are recommended by NIRF to rank management colleges in India such as “Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR),” “Research and Professional Practices (RPP),” “Graduation Outcomes (GO),” “Outreach and Inclusivity (OI),” and “Perception”.
Based on the scores of parameters, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India has ranked International Management Institute first in Delhi and ranked it seventh in India as shown in Figure1 and Figure2.

Secondly, Careers 360 ranks government, private management and public partnership colleges in India. The basis of ranking factors are quality of students, research work, industry connect, publications and academic output. Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) ranks first in government colleges in Delhi accompanied by Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, Delhi School of Management and Department of Business Economics. On the other hand, International Management Institute ranks first in private colleges in Delhi followed by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Fore School of Management and Jagan Institute of Management Studies as shown in Figure 3, 4, 5 & 6.

In India, standardized parameters play an important in ranking the management colleges such as Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RPP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), Perception, -Student Quality, Teaching, Process- Living, Learning and Output- Alumni Score, Research, Salary Scores and ROB. In short, good management colleges follow such standardized parameters to secure good position.
