The primary objective of this event was to provide opportunities for students to practice leadership, and teamwork and develop managerial values through managerial activities namely, Group Discussion.

Detailed Report:

The HR club- People connect at Lloyd Business School organized a successful event “Tickle your gray cells' ' for MBA students on 10th February 2023, under the guidance of Dr. Fehmina Khalique and Ms. Tanya Chouhan, faculty coordinator. The primary objective of this event was to provide opportunities for students to practice leadership, and teamwork and develop managerial values through managerial activities namely, Group Discussion. The response received for the event was really overwhelming with more than 80 students participating. The event was conducted in two rounds, first in each section of MBA and second for selected students on the basis of their performance in the first round of GD. Top 40 students were eligible for the second round of GD in the main event. There were five teams formed for group discussion comprising 8 members each with topics like Importance of Mental Well-being of employees, Moonlighting should be illegal or not, How important is it to be patient in Business and Management, What are the mandatory training which need to be provided to employees and Should employees be allowed to choose between work from home, work from office or hybrid work places. The winner was Team-1 consisting of Anurag Mishra, Ridam Singh Rajput, Neha Gupta, Syed Kamran Ashraf, Subh Soni, Tanya Jaiswal, Tanisha Chaudhary, Shivam Gautam. Students were judged on the basis of five criteria that were: Communication Skills, Body Language, Content Relevancy, Initiative taken by Team Members and Leadership Quality for group discussions. The judges for the event were Mr. Anup Nautiyal, Mr. Rahul Kumar, Dr. Oshin Dixit, Mr. Rajeev Saxena and Dr. Samiksha Budakoti. The team and volunteers along with the winners were appreciated and celebrated for making it a fun and engaging learning experience.
